Christmas Concert
A big thanks to everyone who made it. Sadly some of the older residents has to give it a miss this year because of the atrocious conditions. Despite that, we still had a good crowd, with lots of families. Music was provided by the Wood family (who all walked from Wilshaw!!!). Di Allerton was snowed in so the story was read by Felicity Parry - thanks for stepping in to the breech. A choir was formed on the spot by the kids, mainly from Upperthong J + I. Most of them didn't know they were going to perform but all rose to the occasion. Commitee members and friends got up to perform a truly awful version of 'twelve days of Christmas' and the event was compered again by Steve Wilson.
And of course Santa turned up!!

Frankie Says
Relax
Following the fantastic success of last year's 70's night, Ali and co. were under pressure to provide us with another night to remember. They decided to move on a decade and succeeded spectacularly! Every single person was in 80's fancy dress and the dance floor was full from beginning to end.
The refurbished hall looked great in the 80's style, and Gary and Helen played all the 80's classics. The night was at least as good as last year. Even more pressure for next year team!
